Kelly, a Veterinary Technician, graduated from the University of Vermont in 2004 with a degree in Animal Science. Kelly continues to further her education in Veterinary Technology. She has continued her education in Patient Anesthetic Monitoring, and Emergency Response. Kelly has also earned certificates in Companion Animal Dentistry. Kelly has two cats, Maggie and M.J. She has been part of the Affectionately Cats team since 2005. |

Liz has degrees in Fine Art, English, and Education from Ottawa University. Her particular area of interest is feline behavior. Liz has been at Affectionately Cats for 2 years as a technician. She has 2 "clicker trained" European Burmese cats. |

Valerie is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has been in the field for 28 years. She Worked at Tufts University for a total of 14 years and has a passion for Critical Care. Valerie loves all kitties: especially the cat that has a debilitating disease or medical problem. Her cat Gigi was born with Ventrical Septal Defect and was surrendered to Tufts. Valerie wanted to give Gigi a second chance at life so she adopted her and tufts performed a pulmonary artery banding surgery. Gigi turned two years old this past July 1st. Valerie returned to work for Affectionately Cats because she missed the Doctors and great staff who she works with. Valerie says, “There’s No Place like Home. I love working here.” |
| Nicole is a Certified Veterinary Technician that graduated from Vermont Technical College in 2008 and moved up to the Burlington area hoping to work with cats. Nicole has owned and worked with many different types of animals, but cats have always been special to her. She currently has two cats of her own and has been with affectionately cats since December of 2008. |

Cindi has loved animals forever but has always had a special passion for cats! She and her family share their home with two adult cats, a six month old kitten and a Golden Retriever. She loves being able to spend her work day surrounded by cats and helping to ensure that they and their persons feel welcomed and comfortable! She is the receptionist and has been with Affectionately Cats since December 2008. |
| Chantal is a veterinary assistant. She is a senior in high school and is interested in pursuing veterinary medicine in college. Chantal attended "Adventures in Veterinary Medicine" at Tufts last summer, and is currently working on a feline heartworm study within Affectionately Cats and throughout Vermont. She enjoys caring for the kitties staying in boarding and learning lab techniques from the technicians. Chantal has worked at Affectionately Cats since 2008. |

Taylor is a veterinary assistant. She is
currently a high school senior who hopes to pursue a career in
veterinary medicine. Taylor attended Tufts Adventures in Veterinary
Medicine in the summer of 2009. She enjoys learning about, assisting
with veterinary care, and caring for the cats in boarding. Taylor has
worked at Affectionately Cats since 2008. |

Paula is one of our wonderful boarding technicians, she gives all of our visiting cats much love and attention. Her gentle spirit and loving rapport with the kitties make boarding a special place to be both for visiting cats and their people. She is in tune with each cats personality and comfort level and is very quick to let the Doctors know if a concern with any of the visiting cats arises. She can often be found having a detailed conversation with a cat!

Renee is a Veterinary Technician. She has been with Affectionately Cats since 2007. She is pursuing an associates degree in Veterinary Technology through Purdue University. When she has finished her degree she will take the National Veterinary Technician exam to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Renee recently moved to Virginia with her family but still works remotely for Affectionately Cats and works in the clinic when she comes back to Vermont to visit a few times per year. Renee has 4 cats and a variety of other animals. She misses seeing all of our patients and their wonderful people on a daily basis, but loves still being a part of Affectionately Cats.
