RECEPTIONISTS Our receptionists are a crucial part of our team. The first impression of our clinic. A smiling face, compassionate heart and a willingness to serve our clients and patients are essential. You must LOVE cats!!! You must be calm, friendly, willing and able to deal with stressful situations have a positive attitude and good communication skills. A cheerful, welcoming phone voice is required. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering multiple phone lines, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, scheduling boarding appointments and front office and reception area maintenance. NO RECEPTIONIST POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME
VETERINARY TECHNICIANS All candidates for employment at Affectionately Cats must love working with cats and people. Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, client education, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs. A positive team player attitude and good communication skills are essential. You must love cats! We currently have a Veterinary Technician position open. 20-30 hours per week. We are seeking a hard working, experienced, enthusiastic candidate. A positive attitude and excellent people skills are essential.
VETERINARIAN ASSISTANT Veterinary assistants are responsible for restraining cats, assisting Veterinarians and technicians, cleaning, feeding, laundry, waste disposal, and running lab work. A love of cats, a positive, team player attitude and good communication skills are essential. NO VETERINARY ASSISTANT POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME
Boarding Technicians: Responsible for the daily care and well being of cats who are boarding. Duties include cleaning, feeding, providing special care requirements, exercising, and giving love and attention to all boarding cats. Must be able to communicate with other hospital staff regarding care of the cats in boarding. Must have good attention to detail, a positive attitude and a caring heart. You must LOVE cats!
